Anyone who knows me knows my feelings on politics and politicians, unfortunately getting them all into a pit, and with the price of petrol, I’m afraid that I’ll have to let that fantasy go for a good while
But seriously, Fianna Fail. They have rode the country for the last 15 years. They have spent every cent of the Celtic tiger. They have absolutely no idea what to do. Their best man, Bertie, saw it all coming, knew there was nothing he could do, and high-tailed it (be that very clever or complete cowardice, I’ll leave up to you). Now we are left with a shower of muppets who could lead their way out of a paper bag, but would leave two toll-booths, an unfinished ring road, and management company fees for the lovely bit of green said paper bag was first flung on.
My better half says that they are still the best option for the country, that all the opposition do is criticise them, not offer solutions. But it is not the job of the opposition to provide solutions, that is what government is supposed to do.
So where do we go from here. I for one am all for change. I have two solutions
Vote for the opposition (i am Labor biased, my mother being a Labor councillor)
Vote for Me. I will sort the whole thing out. I have no political agenda bar sort all this shite out, i have no problem beating a few bankers and builders and putting them into their place. I have no issue in burning the HSE to the ground and hiring private contractors to sort the whole thing out. I have no issue working for 60K a year, tax free mind! So, next election, vote Corporate_Zombie!

Man, build that out the back and get Liam Shea to get “De Bomb” to throw some fuel over the fence every ten years. Sort Graig out nicely with some lovely electricity, and nice water too!!
I called two of my old friends today. Had quite a good chat to each of them. Over the course of chat there was quite a lot of laughing done. Man, some of the things that guys laugh about is brilliant. There was quite the bit of reminiscing done too. Mainly about college and the various antics we used to get up to!! Included were sleeping on the couches of complete strangers, the complete lack of progress on Friday morning, simpler times!
Had a chat about the future too. One of the guys is off to London hopefully, and the other is taking a three month trip around the pacific (australia, new zealand and south east asia). Good luck to them
So what are you going to be doing this time next year. I will be in my house probably wrapping christmas presents! Thats not what i would have said 5 years ago, but thats grand!!
So some good things happened this week
1. I got my DSL installed. 7MB! nice! I have yet to game with it, so here’s hoping, but i did download the 550mb patch for battlefield 2142 in about 15 minutes. So thats pretty nice! Link Here
