Now that is what i call a fun holiday. 23 20-somethings in the middle of bulgaria with little else to do but Ski and Drink (and eat lots of meat, sugar and oil!!)
Have to say it was a vast improvement over the previos trips i had made, not sure if thats a good or bad thing, was a bit nostalgic for Balkan Airlines (theres something about wallpaper on the inside of a plane that warms the heart)
The Skiing was excellent, but i was far too rusty to stay with the advanced class (Matty, Kev, Schlapps and James), so i joined the intermediate class (Sinead, Jackie, Mark, John, Ronan, Paul & Grainne). Much fun was had, even if i was showing off a bit at the start of the week, everyone had hte hang of parrallel turns by the last few days.
Great feckin craic, should have kept a journal, its too bloody hard to recall everything here!! Hopefully some of the other "Bansko 23" will post up a few things!!
