the lads

Well we had a very good weekend the one just gone.

Celebrated Ger's birthday in style, went to the Hurricane for their absolutley delicious steak and rib combo. Great fun had by all. Beano typically got destroyed in BBQ sauce and chatted up the waitress. GO ON MY SON

Went to the Beach Road Hotel around the corner a bit after that. Interesting. Not really any atmosphere, but very beautiful ladies and the odd minor celebrity. (Me, who else???) Dave was recked after the week working so he headed off a bit early. Benny and kathy headed after that. Me Ger Cat and Jo made for Randi Wix, and got stuck into their mad cocktails and laughed at the divorcees all around us.

Saturday the lads made for town, i went up to do some laundry, ended up getting a case of beer and drinking it with benny!!! The lads meanwhile were drinking tht shoite outta it in town. Caught up with them in the merchantile. Tom Joyce and Mick O Neill were with them. Headed up to the CBD hotel then and drank for the the night. THe week caight up with me there, 60 hours working + 10 traveling time, feck that. Me and Jo headed home then, got a Maccy D's and jumped into the leaba.

I got the number of one of the girls i know from Limerick days, gave her a ring and went into the hero. Had a great night. Went to Scruffy Murphy's then and got rotten drunk. Went to work this morning, abso lkd !!!! Cant remember going to work at all.!!!

been and gone to System. Paul and Killer didnt make it, going to the big day out tomorrow. System were excellent. Bit different from home. No breaks in the songs at all.

They played a lot of stuff off Steal This Album. One new track, called Holy Mountain, kinda reminded me of a cross of Aerials and Chop Suey.

Didnt end up going out after all, was wrecked tired. Got right to the front, but the shagging place was too hot so i had to back off after three songs. Must be getting old or something.
