Post subject:  One of the best nights ever

Last night i went to see one of the best metal bands out there, and possibly one of the top ten front men of a metal band.

Last night i saw Megadeth in the UNSW Roundhouse. Mr Dave Mustaine was in full flight ladies and gents, and by jesus did he rock.

Started off with some new stuff, Die Dead Enough, then straight into the classics. Man, he played Angry Again, Paranoid, In My Darkest Hour, feck sake, it was pure metal heaven.

Sweating Bullets, then Trust then Symphony Of Destruction, christ, I didnt know what to think

I thought it was getting to the top of the performance when they launched into Tornado Of Souls, and were so bloody tight it was unbelievable. A Tout Le Monde followed this, giving the crowd a bit of a rest, that would be much needed.

Peace Sells, But Who's Buying came next. Pure Excellence

Off went Megadeth, but the crowd was having none of it. Chants of "MEG - A - Deth" and "DAVE - DAVE -DAVE" had them back on stage in minutes

Then the finale, and by god what a finale. Holy Wars, half way through which dave got stuck into The Mechanix, then back to Holy Wars. Fuck sake, it bloody ruled

jebus, for a final tour, it is amazing

in the words of Mr Dave Mustaine

"Youve Been Great, We've Been Megadeth"

Brilliant

am regretting not goin to the ambassador to see them last january now. they're playing donnington in the summer so hopefully they can be persuaded to play at the gig in the rds in august as well. wud be brilliant to see them once more before they pack it in. sounds like a deadly show, giving the tunes you've listed off. was it a big venue where the gig was held??
