+ Good Band + Great Company = great night out in carlow.

Yes sir-ee we had a feckin great night out. Debauchery, a marriage proposal and a baptism of sorts.

So we started in the barracks, still a class place, i am very impressed by it (http://www.thebarracks.ie) Got a table upstairs in it and it started to get pretty full after that. Was a good laugh, mainly at one girl with the dress sense of a drunken rhino, not that i know what a drunken rhino would dress like, so, eh, there you go!!

Onwards to the Foundry, and much drinking of warm miller, uggghh, so i started on the Jameson. But not before proposing to a bottle of miller!!! Anyway, while on a trip to the bar the girls decided to go dancing, so when i came back and was greeted by the sight of two handbag hangers (paul and doc) i decided to act (queue best cartmant impression: "Screw you guys, im going to the Tower")

At first there was resistence, then doubt then acceptance.

I went in first, and didnt have to wait too long for the lads to come in (Paul and Doc). Then Sue and Lou (wow, that rhymes!!!) And finally the coady gruesome twosome (couldnt call them the dynamic duo could I!!)

So in the Tower we had a live band, a bloody good live band, and a bar man who i didnt have to tell my order to after the second trip (sweet)

Anyway, there was head banging and dancing, and grabbing and elbowing, good night enjoyed by all!!! (Well, definately enjoyed by me!!)

Afterwards myself and lou somehow missed the trip to teh chippers, so lou decided that dunking her head in the public fountain was required. She did this. 4 Times. I laughed, and laughed, then got a call from Kelly ("Taxi here, mon") And we all piled aboard and back to graig.

Next Morning: Breakfast in Kellys house. Sweet as bro!!!

Moral of the story: "taco fries are fine, unless you loose the fork"

Only dunked my HAIR twice (not my whole head)!! First one was an accident  and I thought the "was out in tropical storm" a better look than "almost fell into a fountain and wet half my hair"! And I didn't lose the fork, I didn't have one to begin with and its common knowledge that one get's very hungry after water sports!!!

Niamh is incapable of ordering a fscking bag of chips. Clear concise order placed with the blonde coady girl.

plain quater pounder and a bag of chips. What did I get? You'd like to think at least the bag of chips and maybe a burger with some crap on it??

Well i got no chips, needless to say drunken Paul with no food at 2:45am is no fun.

Other than the last bit of the night, it was all good. My house seems to be the better venue for food stuff consumption on a sunday morning. I'm not sure how many times the parentals will go without complaining, but so far sooo good :)

Paul, if she had got you a burger with some crap on it, you would have thrown it at her screaming about the evils of ketchup or anything else that one might conceive to put on a burger!! Should have done what I did!! Fingers? Check. Someone's taco fries? Check. Yum yum.

And your's in def the best venue for brekkie. (bar the anchor - none of that cleaning shite!! and nobody to give out to me for spilling lemon squash on Nancy's snow white table cloth  ) Thought we were very civilised with our little Walton's gathering - "pass the salt please", "would you like some tea", "get away from me with the feckin mushrooms", "these beans are fucking hard!!", "you didn't leave me any room to put the milk in ya fuckin idiot", "stop saying woo yeah", "I got no black pudding ye greedy feckers", "who broke my egg?""fuck off!".

Yep, very civilised indeed!!

ah moll how could you not realise that it was a live band playing when you were practically dancing in front of them,if you got any closer you would have been up on the stage with them singing "SISTERS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES"
