well well, spent the last week or so in airlie beach milling around the place and visiting the whitsunday islands just off its coast.
activities wise we've been well busy up there. we went sailin out to the islands twice, both days were class, go to see one of only three white sanded beaches in ox, whitehaven beach, class place. we went mad the other day and singed up for a thing called the awesome foursome. meant we did jet skiing, parasailing, a helicopter ride over the whitsundays (the smallest helicopter ever with no doors on it i might add, saves on air conditioning apparently
) and quad biking. that excitment might be enough for most people, well lazy buggers like me, but before doing all that, joan did a skydive from 8,000 feet at 8am to kick the day off. she got sum class fotos of it and a video/dvd thing as well to show off when we get back.
if that wasn't exictement enough, we met up with jimmy, jen and paul for a few days and after they went sailing, gerry and mairead rolled into town. we're alll hoping to visit fraiser island together so that should be good fun. the first nite jimmy arrive, me and him ended up ot til half four and even graced one opf airlie's three niteclubs with an exhibition of break dancing.
looking forward to hitting hervey bay and heading out to frasier island then, pity it's such a long trip down that's all, we're stopped into rockhampton at the minute just to break up the trip, should hit hervey by tuesday for some graigue based devilment
