the lads

As "shortword" so kindly pointed out to me, it's been a while since I put up a few words so here goes!

As Jimmy was saying, it's a bit of a catch-22 situation over here to get a job. Have sent out a butt load of cv's and stuff but think I'm gonna have to start knocking on doors fairly soon! Got my portfolio printed up, at about a third of the price as home - surprise surprise - so may make myself look presentable and start knocking on some doors I think!

Apart from that there's been a lot of going out over the last week or so. My mates Orlagh and Alva from home turned up and ended up staying a little longer than anticipated so had to do the hospitable thing and partake in a few bevvies! The only thing is that no matter how late you go out, you can always find a later bar or even scarier, a 24 hour bar! Coady, you're gonna love it!

Myself and Jim went on a little day trip yesterday to Manly on the pretext of looking for a cheap fridge but all I ended up getting was sunburn so that tells you about the weather over here!

The only other big news is that we're going to a SpringFest on the 2nd of October with Benny and Kathleen. It's formal dress so dammit I have to go out shopping and buy myself something pretty! Plus the lads have to wear shirts and ties and the whole nine yards so keep an eye out for those pictures in the near future!

just a quick update on how things are here a lot can change in a few days.

the weather is still shit.

coady is such a big jew he's now a rabbii and called coadowski.

doc is married and his anniversary is next week.

little doc keeps shrinking, kelly is now sponsored by goodyear and i'm getting lazier by the day.

i got a pump for the ball so we can have a new game.

p.s. tough going with the jobs lads, touch wood something will spring up soon that doesn't involve asking people if they want 2 supersize anything.
