found the correct recipe!
maybe don't cook this in joans new kitchen, it gets messy and its impossible to clean up!

Boil the marg., sugar and syrup together until brown. Add the bicarb and mix. Pour into a greased tray. When hard, break into pieces. If you dip the pieces into melted chocolate, tastes like Crunchie!!
1oz margarine
4oz sugar
2 tbspns syrup
1 tspn bicarbonate of soda

So there is actually no honey at all in a honey-comb crunchie.

Fuck all that shit, you cannot beat (in order of preference) a curly-whurly, a fudge or a Moro (formerly Starbar)

moro doesn't n never had peanuts in it, but it was also never called starburst. however, starburst was the equivalent of moro with peanuts!!! thats all folks!!!
anyway all this confusion could be avoided if goodies just kept their original names!!! why did opal fruits have to become starbursts, however i do prefere snickers to marathon! can't remember any others!!!

they changed wispas to cadbury's bubbly (or something along those lines) and it's now a vastly inferior bar. doesn't taste as nice and is a lot smaller now

They still have them Dj, you'll get them in super markets though, in the big sized bars.
